LRT Train Operation Tested

Yesterday, PT. Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jakarta tested four LRT train cars. Testing was held from Velodrome Station to Boulevard Utara Station.
This operation test is done twice a day
PT. LRT Jakarta President Director, Allan Tandiono stated, train testing was done by involving Jakarta Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institutions (LKPP). His side will do similar tests until next September.
"This operation test is done twice a day. First trip at 3-4 PM and second trip at 4-5 PM. One trip can accommodate 100 people maximum," he informed, Wednesday (8/29).
PT LRT Jakarta to Explore Retail and Ad BusinessIn this trial, train was run by machinist with maximum speed 40 kilometers per hour at a straight track and 25 kilometers per hour at cornering track.
Train will be operated this December and hopefully people to choose it as alternative transportation.
"Currently it is still run by two machinists, junior and senior machinists, under Operation Control Center (OCC) monitoring," he stated.
